Terms & Conditions of Use

We want to provide members with maximum freedom to use our pictures as you wish. We do however need site users to obey a few simple terms & conditions as follows:

1. Use of this site constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any of these conditions please do not join Freedom Images and do not attempt to download any of the images contained within our site.

2. You must join as a member and pay the current subscription fee before downloading or using any of our images. You MUST remain a member of Freedom Images in order to continue using the images from this site. If you cancel your membership you must not use any images you have already downloaded in any new way or continue to print any new items with the image.

For example: If you have been using a picture on your custom products site and you then cancel your membership you will need to remove that image from the site and you must not print any further products using it. If you have already printed material using the image before cancelling, you may continue to use or sell those products. If you have incorporated one of our pictures within a webpage or presentation of some kind then it can be left in place after you cancel. You may not however use it in any new way. Any copies of the image file in your possession must be deleted.

If you have manipulated one of our images and turned it into a new image then copyright still remains with us unless (1) the image or substantial part of it is completely unrecognisable from the original or (2) the original image is copyright free.

3. You must not resell, distribute or send any of our pictures to another person in digital form. They must not be added to royalty free disks or placed on websites for others to download and use. Many of our images are under copyright and the only persons with permission to use our images are those who subscribe as members to Freedom Images.

4. With the exception of the pictures contained in the Event galleries the following are examples of the uses all other images can be put to: Books, Magazines, Postcards, T-Shirts, Custom Print Products, Print On Demand Products, Web Sites, Advertising Materials, Presentations, School Projects, Commercial & Non-Commercial Items and anything similar.

5. Special conditions are applied to the images contained within the Event Galleries as these contain pictures of people. Various countries have Privacy Laws which restrict the use of a persons image and we here at Freedom Images wish to respect that right to privacy. Therefore you are not permitted to use these pictures for any advertising or commercial purpose, which would include adding them on products for resale. These may however be used for editorial, educational, non-commercial website or personal use. You may also alter the images in such a way that persons within the picture are not recognizable. This would then allow you to use the image in any way you wish, subject to the other conditions on this page.

6. You must not use any of our images in a way that may offend others or for products which break the law in any way. You accept full responsibility for the way in which an image is used and you accept all legal liability for such usage.

7. We reserve the right to change any of these terms and condition at any time. We also reserve the right to exclude persons from using our site without explanation and withdrawing permission for them to use our pictures. We have the right to change membership fees for new members, close membership at any time and remove images as necessary from our site without prior warning.

8. No refunds of membership subscriptions will be given for any reason so please ensure that you wish to use our services before joining. Part months cannot be refunded. You may cancel at any time. You must use PayPal in order to subscribe.

9.  THE CONTENT IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT REPRESENTATION, WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. FREEDOM IMAGES DOES NOT REPRESENT OR WARRANT THAT THE CONTENT WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR THAT ITS USE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR FREE. THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE CONTENT IS WITH YOU. SHOULD THE CONTENT PROVE DEFECTIVE, YOU (AND NOT FREEDOM IMAGES) ASSUME THE ENTIRE RISK AND COST OF ALL NECESSARY CORRECTIONS.

10. You agree to indemnify, defend and hold Freedom Images, its affiliates, its Content providers and their respective directors, officers, employees,  partners and agents  harmless from and against any and all claims, liability, losses, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees on a solicitor and client basis) incurred by any Freedom Images party as a result of or in connection with any breach by you or anyone acting on your behalf of any of the terms of this Agreement.
