Central Florida Attractions

We have already covered information on the big theme parks in the area and now we can have a look at some of the other attractions that are on offer.

Some of these attractions will give you a full day out, others half a day and some just an hour or so. But whichever it is they are still worth a visit if you can fit them into your schedule and budget.

If this is your first visit to Florida and you only have a two week holiday, you probably won't have much time left after doing Disney and the other main theme parks. If you're here during the high season when queues are at their longest, you may struggle to even complete these properly.

But this area does have so much more to offer, so here is our selection of attractions you may like to visit, which are either in, around or within a couple of hours easy drive of Orlando.

We are adding to and updating this section constantly and some of the attractions here may not yet be linked to an information page. We will have full details of all these attractions as soon as we can.

One of the first places you should visit before doing anything else is the Orlando Official Visitor Center. Here you can get comprehensive and unbiased information on all of Orlando's attractions. The Center provides brochures in many languages on area hotels, services, public transport, restaurants and all the attractions. They will also be happy to assist with bookings and discount attraction tickets.

The center is located at 8723 International Drive, at the corner of International drive and Austrian Row near the Mercado Shopping centre. They are open 8am to 7pm every day except Dec 25th.Their telephone No. is 407-363-5872 or on the web at www.orlandoinfo.com
