Now let's have a look in detail at all the main attractions in Busch Gardens.

Gwazi is Busch Gardens newest and most elaborate roller coaster. This is a massive wooden construction and features the duelling coasters, Gwazi Lion and Gwazi Tiger. These travel at speeds of up to 50 mph and feature six near miss encounters during the 2 minute 20 second ride. As coasters go this one isn't too scary, so give it a go.
Height restriction: 3ft 8 in min.
World Rhythms On Ice is a new show featuring 16 top class ice skaters, more than 300 colourful costumes and great special effects. You will be taken on a tour of cultures across the decades in this amusing and spectacular performance.
This is a great show to visit during the heat of the day, as the theatre is air conditioned. Check your park program for show times.

Lory Landing is a desert Island themed bird aviary where you will encounter many different birds including hornbills, lorikeets and parrots. For a friendly and close up encounter you can buy a cup of nectar for $1 and become a human perch. Have your camera ready. The aviary includes a large walk-through area as well as enclosed exhibits.

Akbar's Adventure Tours. Welcome to the world of Akbar and his new and untested excursion machine. This is a simulator ride through the mysterious secrets and treasures of ancient Egypt.
This is a fast and bumpy ride into the unexpected, and is not suitable for those with neck, back or heart problems or pregnant women.
Height restriction: 3ft 6in min.

Edge of Africa. This is billed as 'the most intense safari experience outside Africa', and a great deal of work has gone into making this 15 acre area as realistic as possible. You can see lions, hyenas, crocodiles, baboons and many others. There is also a great view of the hippo's underwater world.
In summer the animals will tend to sleep in the shade during the heat of the day, so it's best to visit here early to see them active.

Montu in the Egyptian themed area is another fabulous roller coaster. This is one of the tallest and longest inverted coasters in the world and reaches speeds of 60 mph and a G-Force of 3.85 during it's 3 minutes. You ride with your legs swinging free through nearly 4000 ft of loops, turns and plunges. I had to sit down for a few minutes after riding Montu, to let my brain stop moving.
Height restriction: 54 inch  min.
Tanganyika Tidal Wave. Take a tranquil jungle boat trip which lulls you into a false sense of security, because at it's end you will be dropped suddenly down a 55 ft, steep slope which at the bottom creates the 'tidal wave'. You will get wet.
This is a great ride to watch from the neighbouring Orchid Canyon Bridge, as it gets completely covered with the tidal wave. Stand behind the glass screen and see who gets soaked.
Height restriction 48 inch min.

Land of the Dragons is a great place for your younger kids to have some fun. There's a three story tree house, an enchanted forest, slides, waterfalls, rides and of course, dragons.
