Here are the main attractions that you will find in Seaworld
Adventure Park :-

|
Journey to Atlantis is Seaworlds first
big thrill ride, introduced in 1998 and is a massive 10 story building. This can be
described as a 'water-coaster', and is a truly unique ride. Atlantis has been discovered
and you board an 8 seater Greek fishing boat and set off to explore this lost city. The
evil Allura takes over your boat and sends you on an incredible journey through Atlantis.
Fountains, water canons, holographic and laser generated illusions all make for a
thrilling ride followed by a 60ft drop into the catacombs below.
Be prepared to get very wet and not necessarily where you think.
Height requirement: 42 inches. |
| Intensity Water Ski Show.
This is something Seaworld is famous for, it's great water ski shows which have been
running for some 3 decades. A 20 strong team of world class skiers and wakeboarders show
off their skills in this high energy show. |

|
Pets on Stage. An animal show
comprising a cast which were nearly all rescued from local animal shelters. Some 18 cats,
a dozen dogs, a flock of birds, rats, three pigs and a horse perform for your enjoyment.
Cirque de la Mer. Circus of the Sea is what this
stands for and it showcases the talents of musicians, athletes, acrobats and dancers in
amusing and dramatic ways. This is an excellent show which is well balanced between the
dramatic and the comic. Watch out for the mime artist as you enter the theatre he is very
funny.
Kraken. This is Seaworlds newest ride and will be
Orlando's tallest, fastest, longest and only 'floorless' roller coaster.

|
Kraken officially opened
on the 1st June 2000 next door to Seaworlds other big ride Journey to Atlantis and
continues on with the same theme. In mythology the Kraken was a huge serpent-like beast
that Poseidon kept restrained until it was necessary to 'release the Kraken', which is
what this incredible ride does.
To begin with, the cars you sit in are not like a traditional coaster. There's no barrier
in front of your legs or floor under your feet and there is nothing above you but sky
(except when you're upside down). In a nutshell this ride will send you 149ft high, upside
down seven times, underground three times and put you through the thrill ride of your
life. |
If your interested this is the rides specifications:
4 177 feet long. 149ft high. Drop 144ft. Top speed exceeding 65 mph. Ride time 3 min 39
sec. Capacity 32 passengers in eight rows of four. Inversions, seven including a cobra
roll, zero gravity roll, vertical loops and flat spins. G-Force, extreme both positive and

| Key West at Seaworld. This area
contains a number of exhibits based around the Key West theme. Here you have the
opportunity to interact with some wonderful animals. Dolphins, Stingrays, Sea Turtles can
all be viewed in this beautifully landscaped area. The Key West theme is also carried on
with lively street performers and a nightly sunset celebration. |

|

helicopter and enjoy a simulator ride to the arctic wilderness where you arrive at Base
Station Wild Arctic. Here in this polar research centre you will come face to face with
real polar bears, beluga whales and walruses. There's lot's of imaginative detail to enjoy
and an educational aspect. The simulator ride is quite rough and you need to be at least
42 inches tall. You can bypass this part and walk to the research centre.
| Key West Dolphin Fest is Seaworlds
very popular whale and dolphin show. This is a really enjoyable show for the whole family
as you watch these beautiful animals play and interact with their keepers. |

|

|
The Shamu Adventure. This is one of
the highlights of the park, The Shamu show. Watch as the killer whales perform, and learn
all about these marvellous animals. These creatures pull off some great stunts and in
doing so displace a huge amount of water. The splash zones are clearly marked, and you
will get wet if you sit too close. There has been a new arrival here and you will be
introduced to the baby killer whale but this means the normal show has been altered for
the time being. |
The Terrors of the Deep is the
largest collection of deadly sea creatures in the world and you get to see them from
inside the largest underwater acrylic tunnel in the world. It's probably the closest
you'll ever get to these fascinating animals, without learning to dive. |
