Marvel Super Hero Island

When you reach the lagoon in Port of Entry and turn left to go around the park in a clockwise direction, the first 'Island' you come to is Marvel Super Hero Island. Here you will enter the world of comic book superhero's and witness the titanic struggle between good and evil. Here you will also experience ( if you've got the nerve) three of the most amazing rides you have ever been on.

The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man. Visit the Daily Bugle and prepare to cover the story of a life-time. Enter one of the special 'Scoop' vehicles and head off into an amazing 3-D simulator journey, as Spider-man battles the evil arch-villains across the skyscrapers of New York. The incredible special effects here will make you want to ride again to truly appreciate this 'marvel' of a ride.
Restrictions: height 3ft 4 in min to ride.

Incredible Hulk Coaster. Enter the world of the Incredible Hulk and as you approach you will feel and hear the power of this giant green monster of a ride. You are blasted out over the lagoon, doing 0-40 mph in just 2 seconds and then go immediately into a weightless 'zero G' roll, which you will never have experienced before (unless you fly F-16 fighter jets for a living).
This ride lasts 2 minutes 15 seconds and takes you through one cobra roll, one weightless role, one 360 degree carousel, two loops, one inclined loop, one high speed carousel and two flat spins.
When you come off you will probably resemble the hulk - in colour that is. Fantastic.

Doctor Doom's Fearfall. This is one of those rides we mentioned earlier that will truly terrify you. You enter the lair of the Evil Dr Doom who plans to conquer the world. He has invented a new machine to extract all the fear from his victims, and you have the privilege of testing it for him. You are strapped into seats and then launched 200ft into the air at breakneck speed, only to fall back to the ground even faster.
You have got to be brave for this one because they don't come much scarier than this. Brilliant ride that needs to be done again.
Height restriction 4ft 4in min.

Storm Force Accelatron. This is a brand new ride which Universal describe thus: 'Help the X-Men's superhero STORM summon the forces of nature in a whirling, twirling, spinning power generator in her battle against the evil Magneto.' Sounds very exciting. It is basically just a jazzed up spinning teacup type ride. So if you like those you'll like this.

Kingpin's Arcade. Test your super-hero skills in this high tech arcade. Virtual video, computerised and skill games will test you to the limit.
