Africa

Kilimanjaro Safaris. Here you climb aboard a 32 passenger open truck for what may be the closest you will get to a real safari outside of Africa.
The 110 acre site is very authentic and as you travel around the savannah your guide will relay information to you about the various flora and fauna that you will encounter.
Hundreds of animals are spread out in their various habitats with no fences in sight. Halfway round, your journey steps up in pace as you encounter elephant poachers.
This trip can be very bumpy and is not recommended for pregnant women or those with neck/back problems.
Afternoons are best avoided here as most animals sleep in the shade.

Pangani Forest Exploration Trail. Enter the lush jungle trail which takes you to various research stations where you can learn a great deal about the African wildlife. Highlights here are the Exotic Bird Aviary, the underwater Hippo viewing area, the Savannah viewpoint and the Gorillas.

Conservation Station. You take the Wildlife Express Train to the nerve centre of Animal Kingdom where you can view how Disney's conservation program operates. Have a look at some of the backstage areas, a petting Zoo and various other interesting exhibits which help to educate us all a little more on conservation issues.
