Disney - MGM Studios

This 135 acre park opened in 1989 and is quite different from the Magic kingdom or Epcot. There are some superb rides and some really excellent shows to see.

The park is a combination of theme park and working TV and film studios. You may well find that a feature film is being shot somewhere on the backstage areas.

You may even get a chance to step up into the limelight and do a bit of acting yourself and impress all your friends.

You should find that you can do everything in MGM in one day. The park isn't quite as easy to navigate though as Magic Kingdom and Epcot, because it isn't divided into different 'lands'. What we have here are five main 'streets' which contain the attractions.

You will need to refer to your park guide extensively here to make sure you don't miss out on anything.

Opening hours are:- 9am to 7pm off peak, 9am to 10pm high season. These hours do vary so check times locally.
