Fantasyland

Passing the centre piece of the Magic Kingdom, Cinderella Castle, you enter Fantasyland. This land really is for the kids and will keep your young ones amused for ages. You 'big kids' will enjoy it to.

Peter Pan's Flight takes you on a journey over the roofs of London and off into Neverland with a little help from some pixie dust. This is a nice gentle ride for the kids taking you through various scenes from the story. The queues here can get quite long during busy periods.

It's a Small World is probably the best known ride here and takes you on a boat trip through the different continents, represented by hundreds of singing and dancing audio-animatronic dolls.
The younger kids will certainly enjoy this ride but the annoyingly catchy theme tune will probably be stuck in your head for the rest of the day.

Cinderella's Golden Carrousel is one of the largest ever built with a diameter of 60ft and containing some 90 horses. The kids will love it. The queues can get quite long during the middle part of the day.

Mad Tea Party. Spinning, over-sized tea cups spin you through an Alice in Wonderland theme. Watch out for the doze dormouse in the teapot. Another fairground style ride which does get busy later in the day.

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, One Hunny of a Ride takes you on a family ride through Hundred Acre Wood with some good special effects and music.
A good ride which the under 5's will really love.

Snow White's Scary Adventures is a lively ride which takes you through the story of Snow White and the seven Dwarfs. Each of the cars you travel in is named on the front after one of the Dwarfs. Some effects might scare small children but generally a good ride for all the family and therefor long queues during the main part of the day.

Magic Kingdom7.JPG (58773 bytes) Dumbo The Flying Elephant is a basic fairground type ride which takes you on the back of Dumbo as he soars and swoops through the air. The kids do like this 2 minute ride and the queue is usually quite long so best to arrive here early.

Legend of the Lion King is a cleverly staged version of the cartoon using actors, puppets and special effects to tell the story, along with original music from the film.
This is a great theatre experience which children especially will love. With the queue, pre-show and main show this will take up quite a lot of time though.

There are also many other musical shows throughout the day and opportunities to meet some of the Disney characters in front of Cinderella's Castle.
