We have a close look here at the eight big theme parks which really should be on your 'must do' list, especially if this is your first visit to Florida.

We also include here the smaller attractions which are directly associated with these theme parks.
Walt Disney World consists of four separate Theme Parks. These are:-

Magic Kingdom at Disney World.

Magic Kingdom Park consists of 100 acres of fun for the whole family.

Epcot. The name stands for Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow and covers 260 acres themed on the world around us and Disney's vision of the future.

Disney-MGM Studios. 135 acres of TV and movie magic.

Animal Kingdom Park is Disney's newest park and covers some 500 acres and has more of  an emphasis on conservation and nature.

Then there are the other attractions within Walt Disney World- Typhoon Lagoon water park, River Country water park, Blizzard Beach water park, Wide World of Sports and Downtown Disney.
Then outside Disney we have the other major parks which are:-
Universal Studios. 110 acres of movies thrills and spills for the whole family.

Universal Studios.

Islands of Adventure a brand new 110 acre park from Universal which promises to be the most thrilling of all the parks.

Killer Whales at Seaworld.

SeaWorld Adventure Park. Over 200 acres of great exhibits, rides & shows based on the sea and it's creatures.
Busch Gardens. 335 acres of animal exhibits and amazing thrill rides.
